Every home starts with work you'll never see: zoning limits, structure, and the order in which the trades build it. As a licensed New Jersey architect, I handle both the design and the technical work. Nothing gets handed off, and nothing gets lost along the way.
I start by studying your property and your township's zoning code to learn exactly what's possible. From there I develop the design and produce the permit and construction drawings. During construction I visit the site and work out details with your contractor as questions come up in the field. You'll work with me from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.
This is for clients who want a finished, well-considered home without making a hundred decisions alone. I take on the whole picture, including layouts, finishes, lighting, furniture and art. I also handle the ordering, tracking and installation that usually take over your weekends.
My background is in architecture, so I plan interiors along with the structure of the house rather than adding them afterward. You can expect a clear process, regular check-ins, and a home where each room feels connected to the next.
Not every project needs to be the whole house. Maybe you have a kitchen that works against you, or a living room that never quite came together. Some rooms just need a lighter update with new paint, lighting and furnishings. Others need a deeper redesign with a new layout, cabinetry, built-ins and finishes. Whichever it is, you'll get a complete plan and my support through to the end.
This gets an architect's eye on your space wherever you are. Send me photos, measurements and what isn't working, and we'll meet over video to solve it together. We'll cover furniture layout, paint and finish palettes, lighting, and specific product picks you can buy on your own schedule. You'll leave with clear next steps. Choosing materials is the fun part. Chasing samples, comparing lead times and checking that the slab matches the countertop template is not. I act as your one point of contact for stone, tile, flooring, paint, fixtures and hardware. I pull samples, place orders, and coordinate with your installers so measurements are checked before anything is cut or shipped. That means fewer surprises, fewer returns, and materials that arrive ready for the trades.
